Degree and year of study?

I’m in my fourth year of a Bachelor of Laws.

What inspired you to engage with the office and role(s) you currently hold?

I have been in representative roles for many years, advocating for student interests in various forums and situations. I enjoy empowering my peers around me, creating a supportive and vibrant community, and ensuring that our time at the university is not only academically fulfilling but also personally enriching.

What Clubs are you involved with at UofA?

The two main clubs I engage with are the Bright Futures Society and the Law Students Society.

What led you to join the club(s)?

I am very much a people person, and clubs are a great way to meet like-minded people and share ideas. They also help me interact with the wider university community and provide opportunities for me to socialize with others and learn from each other, regardless of whether we are studying the same thing. It's always a good chat and a great way to meet new friends!

Favourite holiday destination/activity?

Big-time foodie here! A holiday without good food is like an omelette without eggs! Like… seriously!

Favourite place to study on campus?

Ever wondered what’s below Hub Central? A place to procrastinate in peace and quiet.

You know what home is for? Cooking your next meal with lectures on double speed and not remembering anything afterwards. So you will then need to go down to Hub Central because you feel bad, and repeat the vicious cycle after you get hungry and go home again.

You're welcome. I mean it.

What do you hope to achieve in your office and role(s) in 2024?.

Many years ago, when I first put my hand up for representative roles, I thought about a million things to achieve throughout my terms in the past. But over time, I realized that there’s really one core thing that I should do, and that is being there for you! And for you all the way!

What advice would you give to students starting out at the University of Adelaide

University is not just about attending classes and passing exams. It's a unique environment for intellectual growth. Engage deeply with your subjects and explore topics that intrigue you beyond the curriculum.

Pro tip – often your lecturers are much more interesting than you think they are. They don’t bite, so don’t be afraid to ask them questions or simply say hi and see where that conversation leads you.
