About us:

The AUU is the key provider of social, cultural, and support services to all students of the University of Adelaide. We aim to offer members access to a range of exciting programs, activities and events that engage students on all levels across the three campuses at the University of Adelaide

About Clubs:

Clubs are about enhancing the student experience on campus and the current offering of clubs is extensive and varied. Clubs are a great way for students to engage with other students with similar interests through networking, social events and other activities

SENIOR CLUBS COORDINATOR:

The Senior Clubs Coordinator will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Clubs Strategy and providing high level support to the various AUU registered clubs. This support may include but not limited to governance advice, club registration support, the development of policies and procedures and the administration of the clubs grant funding program.

This position works closely with the Clubs Committee, which a body of elected student representatives who are responsible for the oversight of the Clubs Strategic Plan and overall Clubs governance structure.

About you:

We are seeking a dynamic individual who has the enthusiasm and passion to manage, enhance and improve this operation for the AUU. The position will require a problem solver with strong organisational skills who can work independently. We’re looking for someone who can spot ways to improve systems, processes and services and who can think strategically and how to effect change. You will have demonstrated project management skills and an ability to influence.

The position is also responsible for working in close collaboration with the AUU’s Marketing and Events teams to help with events, promotions and visibility for AUU registered clubs.

Ideally the candidate we are seeking has experience working with students, has strong customer service and administration skills, has an ability to develop and foster relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and has experience in using social media and website / CMS.

CLUBS ADMIN SUPPORT:

The Clubs Admin Support is responsible for assisting the Senior Clubs Coordinator in the administration of the clubs function for the AUU.

The role provides administrative support to the Clubs Committee and other Clubs related activities such as ensuring clubs records are up to date and accurate, preparation of meeting documentation for the Clubs Committee, overseeing the clubs equipment and facility bookings and providing high level administrative support to the Senior Clubs Coordinator as required.

About you:

We are seeking someone who has outstanding customer service and administrative skills.You must be organised and can manage competing priorities.The ability to prepare meeting agendas and take minutes is essential.

You will have the ability to communicate and relate to a diverse group of stakeholders, be a team player who uses their initiative and ‘can do attitude’ to provide support to the team where needed.
