Postgraduate Association for Waite Students (PAWS)

Who are we?

We are a bunch of enthusiastic students who promote social and professional events for postgraduate researchers in the School of Agriculture, Food and Wine at the Waite campus. PAWS is proud to welcome anyone to our events, from a diverse range of countries and cultures.

What is our aim?

PAWS aims to make post-grad life at the Waite Campus enjoyable and enriching for all - maintain that healthy work/life balance!

What do we do?

We organise a wide range of social events: BBQs, picnics, movie + pizza nights, quizzes, hikes, etc.
Here, students are free to meet other postgrads from the campus and share success stories, difficulties and everything in between.
The more people you know, the easier it is to deal with postgrad life!

We also provide relevant and interesting professional events such as writing courses and the annual Postgraduate Symposium - which includes cash prizes!

Most importantly - it doesn't cost anything to be a member, and most of our events are FREE! So join TODAY!
