Give Blood

Calling all students, staff, and alumni

For the first time ever Australian Universities and TAFEs nationally are competing against each other to save lives and win a challenge title!

The Tertiary Blood Challenge will see students, staff and alumni unite across our organisation to help Australians with serious medical illnesses. Help us prove we’re the most generous blood donors!

How to get involved

If you’re already a member of our University of Adelaide Red25 Group:

You’re ready to go! Just give blood during the challenge and have your donation automatically added to our tally. You can update your Red25 membership here.

If you’ve never donated or you’re new to Red25:

  • 1. Call 13 14 95 to:
    a. Enrol to donate blood
    b. Sign up to our University of Adelaide Red25 Group
    c. Book an appointment to donate by the 3 June deadline
  • 2. You can also sign up to Red25 online (if you’re already enrolled and have your donor number)

  • 3. You can make an appointment online too!

Can’t donate?

We can all help by spreading the word. The more people that get involved in the challenge, the more lives we can save together and the greater our chances of winning a title! If you’d like to organise a group donation for colleagues call 1300 886 524.

You can track our results online against the competition here. For more information, visit the challenge webpage.
