The Adelaide University Union (AUU) is looking for an organised, passionate and enthusiastic Student Employment Coordinator to join our dynamic and creative team.

About us:

The AUU is the key provider of social, cultural, and support services to all students of the University of Adelaide. We aim to offer members access to a range of exciting programs, activities and events that engage students on all levels across the three campuses at the University of Adelaide.

Student Employment offers personalised and professional advice and support to help students find work while they study. 

About the Role:

The Student Employment Coordinator offers an advisory and support service with a specific focus on assisting students to find part-time, temporary and casual job opportunities which supports them whilst undertaking their University study.

In addition the role is responsible for the identification and implementation of complementary training programs that will assist students to gain employment. Some of these training courses include but are not limited to first aid, responsible service of alcohol, barista and forklift training.

About You:

We are seeking an individual who has experience working with diverse groups of people from a variety of cultural backgrounds, ages and work experience.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in either recruitment or human resources along with experience in an advisory related service.

You will have the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, manage competing deadlines within an appointment-based schedule and develop comprehensive resources to assist students with their job search prospects.
