The Adelaide University Union (AUU) is looking for an organised, passionate and enthusiastic Student Engagement Coordinator to join our team.
The AUU is the key provider of social, cultural, and support services to all students of the University of Adelaide. We aim to offer members access to a range of exciting programs, activities and events that engage students on all levels across the three campuses at the University of Adelaide.
About the position:
The Student Engagement Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the AUU remains relevant and connected to new and existing student communities at the University of Adelaide. This will be primarily achieved through the oversight and delivery of the Clubs Strategic Plan together with the various services offered to AUU registered clubs such as administration, registration and re-registration, grant funding and the management of clubs records.
The role will also oversee coordination of Student Media (On Dit and Student Radio) ensuring that elected student representatives are supported and meet their operational requirements in their roles, and manage the representation of students at the University of Adelaide Roseworthy campus. The Student Engagement Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Marketing and Event teams to deliver events, promotions and visibility for Adelaide University Clubs and Student Media.
We are seeking a dynamic individual who has the enthusiasm and passion to manage, enhance and improve this operation for the AUU. The position will require a problem solver with strong organisational skills who can work independently. We’re looking for someone who can spot ways to improve systems, processes and services and who can think strategically on how to effect change. You will have demonstrated project management skills and an ability to influence.
Ideally the candidate we are seeking has experience working with students, has strong customer service and administration skills, has an ability to develop and foster relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and has experience in using social media and website / CMS.
