The Scribble Archive




The Scribble Archive is a public art project open to all University of Adelaide students.We welcome and accept all doodles, scribbles and lecture note masterpieces.

The Scribble Archive is a collaborative effort from the University of Adelaide's finest visual procrastinators. The exhibition will showcase works from students who have mindlessly doodled, drawn and scribbled their way through exam revision, lectures and lunch breaks.

Artworks will be on display at Waite and North Terrace Campuses. This is an official SALA exhibition presented by the Adelaide University Union and the Adelaide University Drawing Club.

How do I submit a scribble?


1. Go to and follow the 'Submit a Scribble' link
2. Fill out the entry form
3. Use the envelopes supplied and submit your artwork into the drop box located in the Hub (Waite or North Terrace) or
the Union Office at Roseworthy.


Will you accept any artwork, doodle or scribble?

All artwork must be A5 in size and on paper or card. Artwork deemed inappropriate will not be included in the artwork. All entries must be accompanied with the completed paper work. Only entries by University of Adelaide students will be accepted.

What are the details of the competition?  

When entering the exhibition you are automatically entered into the competition to win a $500 visa cash card. Artworks will be chosen by a panel of Adelaide University Union staff. Entries will be judged on originality, creativity and resourcefulness. Adelaide University Staff are prohibited from entering the competition, but may still submit artwork if eligible.
