We administer a range of loans and grants to assist students including:
Interest-free loans up to $500 (unsecured; maximum amount for first year students) or up to $2000 (secured) – conditions apply. For more information see http://www.adelaide.edu.au/student/student-loan-scheme/
Please note that as the University of Adelaide will be closed for business on Friday 18th December 2020 through to Sunday 10th January 2021, student loans submitted after Monday December 7th will not be able to be processed until after Monday 11th January.
Short term small loans to assist with items such as food, weekly bus/train tickets, rent, bills, medicine and books – conditions apply
Equal Access Scheme
One-off grant to assist with study-related expenses for low-income first year undergraduate students entering University. Applications can be lodged throughout the year with decisions made after the census date in each semester. An interview with a EWO is required.
AR Riddle Scholarship
Available to students who are commencing the last semester of their Honours or postgraduate coursework programs in the current year. Students must be able to establish financial need and provide supporting documentation.
Applicants are requested to contact Student Care to make an appointment for a short interview to discuss their application. Applicants will be required to provide evidence of income and verification of expenses they are requesting assistance with.

Walter and Dorothy Duncan Trust

Singapore Adelaide Alumni Fund Grant
The Singapore Adelaide Alumni Fund provides one-off grants to citizens or permanent residents of Singapore, not enrolled in their final year of study and have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 (Credit). The fund supports undergraduate students seeking temporary financial assistance to help them overcome temporary setbacks so as to enable them to continue studying their program at the University of Adelaide.
Applicants will be required to provide evidence of income and verification of the expenses for which they are requesting assistance.
A certified copy of residency status and a letter of support from International Student Support must be supplied with the grant application
