Bush Action Teams are a great way to see some of South Australia's beautiful bushland while helping to care for native plants and animals.

Bushcare is about encouraging natural regeneration by removing isolated weeds that compete with our native plants for space, food & water. Immerse yourself in some serene bushland settings, and know that you are creating healthy habitats for wildlife and natural places we can all enjoy for the future.

Activities give you practical experience in bushcare and a chance to learn more about our native plants. The activity would be suitable for anybody who is in general good health, there is no heavy work, but there is bending and squatting involved as well as walking a short distance to the site over uneven ground.

All activities are supervised by two fully trained staff and we provide training and equipment.

For more information or to book into an activity email us at bfl@treesforlife.org.au.

How to Get There:

Catch our bus from our Brooklyn Park Office or from designated pick up points en route, or meet us on site. Sometimes there are pick up points along the way. You are welcome to come for half a day if you wish, but you will need to organise your own transport.
