Hello, my name is Billy and I’m running to be your General Secretary with UNITE.

I’m running because the SRC needs to be a genunine transparent body that fights for students.

Over the last few years we’ve seen an AUU which holds more secret meetings than open ones, blocked women from having clubs on women's issues, and relentlessly bullies clubs and students alike. As an AUU Board Director for the past year i've seen this first hand. The AUU and SRC have so much potential to fight for your education and deliver great services, at the moment, this isn't being seen. We want your University experience to be as good as possible.

Unite is the genuine party of students. We believe in:

• Promoting transparency and democracy within the AUU and SRC
• Fighting against cuts, mergers and Proctor U
• Building a vibrant campus culture through supporting clubs
• Supporting vulnerable and minority groups on campus
• Making campus safe for all students and staff
