Hi, I’m Felix and I’m running to be your AUU Board Director with UNITE. As a 5th year Law / International Studies student I’m an experienced candidate who has served students in many capacities over multiple years including on faculty boards, university committees, student media (On Dit), clubs, and as SRC Education Officer. You may also know me as the guy in the blue vest!
This year on the SRC I’ve:
- Fought for a quality education for all students
- Promoted key student services like the Maths Learning Centre and International Student Support
- Held regular student consultations to give students a chance to raise issues with their reps
- Opposed faculty and university mergers, Proctor U implementation and all manner of course and staff cuts
- Assisted numerous clubs with event management and good governance guidelines
If elected to the AUU Board I will fight to:
- Promote genuine transparency and accountability for AUU decisions
- Revive campus culture through facilitation of club and AUU events
- Support clubs through making grants more flexible and accessible
- Improve AUU member lunches by increasing the portion size or the frequency
