Hi, I’m Jack! I’m an HDR student from the humanities.

Many postgrads also spend time as casual workers at the University, and are exploited in these roles, usually being expected to work well beyond the hours we are paid for. Wage theft and casualisation are rife – which is bad for staff and students alike.

I want to use this position to promote organising among casual workers. For too long the Uni has made a killing from our precarity and low pay. It's time to push back.
