Hi I’m, Dhuruva and I’d like to represent you as SRC International Student Officer in 2021.
I’m passionate about the rights of International Students at our university and would like to be an advocate for our community on the SRC.
To thrive at University international students need support systems available to them not only academically, but socially and emotionally. I've come a long way from home and I'm lucky enough to have that support to keep me on my feet doing what I enjoy. I want to be able to give you all the support you need and deserve to help you progress efficiently and effectively, to help you connect with others around you and find a system of assistance if ever in need. That’s why I’d be a strong advocate for networking in the international student community. Ensuring students from all backgrounds find a sense of community and acceptance at our university.
I’d be honoured to be a part of this work as SRC International Student Officer.
