I am running to become the SRC Mature Age Officer as I believe in providing all students will equal opportunities across all disciplines, regardless of their age while promoting a campus that is friendly and welcoming to our mature age students. After spending an extensive amount of time at Adelaide University, I have come to understand the needs of mature-age students on and off campus. My focus will be to advocate for mature aged students and make sure that their needs are met, and their complaints are heard. I promise to deliver a strong representation to protect areas that are specified for mature-age students, such as the Mature Age Student Lounge in the Union House. I will also aim to work closely with mature age students from all faculties to help shape and deliver any current or future concerns to the SRC. When elected, transparency with all students will be assured.
