What inspired you to engage with the office and role(s) you currently hold?

As an international student, I think it is a glorious thing to be a student representative.  The overall development of postgraduates is also an important part of our future life development.  So I think that as a postgraduate representative, I can seek benefits for the postgraduate students in the University.

What Clubs are you involved with at UofA?

Fitness club

What led you to join the club(s)?

I love going to gyms because workouts are one of the best ways to keep fit, keep healthy and increase my energy levels.  I think a good workout can ensure a better version of myself. In turn, this transformation can boost my self-esteem and confidence to no end.

Favourite holiday destination/activity?

I am a pretty good swimmer. It helps me keep fit and improves my strength and balance. It is also a good way to relax and reduce stress. And I have made many friends at our local swimming centre.

Favourite place to study on campus?

What do you hope to achieve in your office and role(s) in 2020?

I hope to enrich the study life of postgraduate students by holding events. At the same time, I would like to improve postgraduate student’s academic support, for example suggesting more PASS sessions for postgraduate courses.

What advice would you give to students starting out at the University of Adelaide?

I hope that students can fully enjoy the happiness of their time in University, not only by promoting their own academic performance but also by improving their own ability. Sometimes the life of the university is hard. It does not always turn out the outcome you want it. Once you have got a dream, just run and pursue it. Even if you fail, you have to be adventurous and fight harder until you win because the only dream maker of your dream is nobody but you.
