Responsibilities will include:

Meeting and greeting patients

Booking patient appointments for multiple health care providers via Best Practice software

Data entry of new patient forms and ensuring that patient information is accurate and up to date

Arrangement of follow up appointments

Process mixed billing accounts including online claiming using Tyro

Making and receiving phone calls

Filing, handling patient correspondence and distribution

Practice courier duties

The successful candidate will require:

Strong customer service focus

Ability to work well under pressure

A warm, polite and professional phone manner

Ability to build rapport with patients and doctors

Great team working skills with the ability to self-direct

Must be friendly and approachable

Experience in medical reception or administration desirable

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Reliability and a strong work ethic

Excellent verbal communication skills

Enthusiastic and positive attitude

Well presented

First Aid certificate or willingness to undertake first aid training

Able to drive own vehicle that is comprehensively insured

Working With Children’s Check certificate

Ability to work Monday to Saturday

The successful applicant will be required to provide their immunisation record upon request.

We are looking for a mature, hardworking applicant with an administrative background who has exceptional communication skills to join our busy medical receptionist team at our family orientated medical practice in the picturesque Aldinga Beach.

 


 


Qualification / Experience Requirements

Australian citizen / residency required
